About the app
Articulation Drills is a listen-and-repeat flash card app for practising individual speech sounds. A picture appears, the child hears the word spoken by a child’s voice, and repeats it back. It was designed by speech-language pathologists with a combined 75 years of practice in public schools and clinics.
Common questions
How do I unlock all the sounds?
Open Settings inside the app and choose the unlock option. It is a single one-time purchase, not a subscription, and it unlocks every sound set permanently.
I already paid, but the sounds are locked again
This usually happens after reinstalling the app or moving to a new device. Tap Restore purchases in Settings, signed in with the same Apple Account used for the original purchase, and the sets will unlock. If they don’t, email us with the date of purchase and we’ll help.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Tell us what went wrong as well. If something in the app is at fault, we want to fix it.
Does the app need an internet connection?
No. Every picture and recording is stored inside the app, so it works fully offline. A connection is needed only to make or restore a purchase, which Apple handles.
What data does the app collect?
None at all. No accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking. See the privacy policy for the detail.
Is the audio a real voice?
Yes. Every word is spoken by Christina Sibley, a professional child actress. Children match a peer’s voice more readily than an adult’s or a synthesised one.
